Job Title: IT Solution Architect

The key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to the following:

Develop high‑level and detailed solution designs for applications, platforms, and infrastructure to meet business requirements.
Ensure all solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and MTN’s IT strategy.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into accurate technical specifications.
Assess functional and non‑functional requirements including performance, scalability, security, and availability.
Lead integration efforts across applications, APIs, cloud platforms, and legacy systems, ensuring architectural consistency.
Provide technical leadership during project delivery, guiding development teams and ensuring architecture compliance.
Participate in design reviews, quality assurance processes, and resolve architectural risks or issues during implementation.
Define, maintain, and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate emerging technologies (Cloud, DevOps, AI/ML, Automation) and recommend adoption opportunities for digital transformation.
Produce and maintain architecture documentation including system diagrams, integration maps, and technical design materials.

Candidate Requirements

Grade 12 certificate with 5 credit or better of which English and Mathematics are a must
BSc Degree in IT/Software Engineering or related field
Certification in Solution Architect (TOGAF, ARCH)
3 to 5+ years’ experience in solution architecture, systems design, or enterprise IT environments.
Strong experience in application development, cloud computing, infrastructure design, or integration architecture.
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
