Now Hiring: Head of Operations, Grants and Partnerships!
When Females Lead is seeking a dynamic, strategic and execution-driven leader to serve as Head of Operations, Partnerships and Grants.
This is a high-impact role for a results-oriented professional who thrives on structure, excellence and meaningful impact. The successful candidate will drive operational efficiency, build strong partnerships, and lead grant sourcing and writing to support sustainable growth and scaled impact.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
* Oversee day-to-day operations of all WFL programs and initiatives
* Ensure seamless execution of leadership cohorts, events and engagements
* Develop systems, policies, templates and reporting structures
* Manage budgets, timelines, procurement and performance metrics
* Coordinate internal teams, volunteers, service providers and stakeholders
Partnership Development:
* Identify, secure and manage strategic partnerships
* Strengthen relationships with corporate sponsors, institutions and stakeholders
* Lead proposal development, sponsorship pitches and partnership agreements
* Ensure partner value delivery and impact reporting
Grants, Funding and Proposal Writing:
* Source grant opportunities aligned to WFL’s mission and programs
* Lead end-to-end grant writing including concept notes, proposals, budgets and logframes where required
* Coordinate donor requirements, compliance, reporting and documentation
* Maintain a grant pipeline tracker and submission calendar
* Support monitoring and evaluation data needed for donor reports and renewals
Governance and Strategy:
* Support strategic planning and execution
* Ensure alignment with the Founder’s vision and WFL’s objectives
* Drive accountability, excellence and measurable impact across programs
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience in operations management, partnerships and grant sourcing or fundraising
* Demonstrated track record in grant writing and proposal development
* Strong budget management and financial reporting capability
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills
* High integrity, professionalism and strong execution discipline
* Passion for women’s leadership development and empowerment

This role reports directly to the Director of Strategy and will play a critical role in shaping the next phase of growth for When Females Lead.
