UPGRADE OF HANDPUMP AND EQUIPPING OF BOREHOLES TO SOLAR POWERED WATER SYSTEMS
Background
The Zambia Red Cross society (ZRCS), with support from the foreign, commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) under the Cati project, implementation case area targeted interventions to curb the spread of cholera in selected high-risk areas of Lusaka District. These interventions are part of the broader national effort to interrupt cholera transmission, protect communities and promote safe public health practices.
It is from this brief background that ZRCS is requesting Eligible Bidders to submit offers for Upgrading One (1) Hand Pump to a Solar System at PP Zambia Health Post in Chililabombwe and Equipping of One (1) Borehole at COMESA main market Chililabombwe and Equipping of Two (2) Boreholes at Jasmine Street School and Nakoli Urban Health Centre
Bidders must strictly adhere to all the requirements of this RFP. No changes, substitutions or other alterations to the rules and provisions stipulated in this RFP may be made or assumed unless it is instructed or approved in writing by the ZRCS in the form of supplemental information to the RFP.
