JOB OPPORTUNITY – POWER ELECTRICIAN

POWER ELECTRICIAN

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Diagnosing electrical problems using diagrams and blueprints
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools
Inspecting, troubleshooting, and conducting electrical tests
Identifying faults using a range of testing devices
Safely operating various hand and power tools
Planning the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
Ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations

Qualifications & Requirements

Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum of five (5) “O” Levels including English and Mathematics
Craft Certificate in Power Electrical or a related field
Fully paid-up Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
