Job description
Makeni Institute Trust seeks the services of a holticulturist to manage the school garden and facilitate the training of pupils in growing various types of plants. The ideal candidate must:
hold a horticultural diploma from a reputable Institution
Minimum three years of practical hands-on experience growing horticultural vegetables and plants
Well-versed in modern farming practices
Have excellent verbal communication skills
Able to organise crop schedules
Have experience in nursery and seedling management
Have working knowledge of different irrigation practices
