                  LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

A member of the Omnia group of companies, Bulk Mining Explosives Limited (BME) is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Bulk Emulsion Explosives. BME seeks applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill in the position of LOGISTICS COORDINATOR to be based in Lusaka

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient planning, execution, and monitoring of all logistics and supply chain activities. This role requires strong communication skills, problem‑solving abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for clearing all imports
Being the contact person with ZRA with regards to all clearing and logistics issues
Reviewing all the entries processed by the clearing agents and submitting them to finance for payment processing.
Capturing all the import transactions on the ERP system
Liaise with suppliers, transporters, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Prepare and maintain accurate logistics documentation.
Resolve logistics issues, delays, and discrepancies proactively.
Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Provide weekly and monthly logistics reports to management.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least FIVE years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or transport coordination.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Membership to the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply
