Huachen International Supply Chain Limited is seeking to employ a Tracking Room Operator to join our team.

POSITION: Tracking Room Operator (X1)

DEPARTMENT: Fuel Fleet

LOCATION: Ndola, Sakania

JOB PURPOSE

To monitor the movement and position of the fleet of trucks in real-time using a GPS tracking system, give updates on unusual activities and respond to incidents.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Monitor and track the status of the fleet of trucks in real-time, using tracking systems and software.

2.    Provide timely updates to clients and internal teams on the progress of the fleet.

3.    Identify and resolve any issues or delays, coordinating with escorts, drivers, and other stakeholders as necessary.

4.    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tracking information.

5.    Collaborate with the operations team to improve tracking procedures and technologies.

6.    Prepare and submit reports and analysis on fleet movement and performance.

7.    Ensure compliance with all logistics and transportation regulations.

8.    Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

1.    Minimum Diploma in Transport and Logistics

2.    At least 2 years’ work experience tracking fleets of trucks.

3.    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

4.    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5.    Must be computer literate.

6.    Proficient in using tracking systems and software.

7.    Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

8.    Must be a resident of Ndola or Copperbelt.

NOTE: All interviews are conducted in-person at our Sakania Office, in Ndola.

Gross Salary ZMW5500 per Month.
