Job description
Huachen International Supply Chain Limited seeks to employ a Maintenance Manager in the Maintenance Department to join our growing team.
POSITION: Maintenance Manager (X1)
DEPARTMENT: Maintenance
LOCATION: Ndola (Sakania Yard)
JOB PURPOSE
Plan work assignments and career development for team members; exercise supervision, guidance, and performance management
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Be responsible for maintenance safety, including equipment safety and operational safety; anticipate risks and guide staff to follow standard operating procedures to reduce safety risks.
2. Be responsible for maintenance quality control and supervise repair quality, provide technical guidance, and optimize processes.
3. Be responsible for the maintenance workshop environment; reasonably arrange working hours, ensure employee protection and wellbeing, keep tools and spare parts properly organized, and maintain workshop cleanliness.
4. Handle emergencies; develop emergency response plans and organize their implementation.
5. Organize and conduct specialized technical training to improve employees’ skills.
6. Complete any other tasks assigned by the company supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor’s Degree Major in Automotive Maintenance, Auto Engineering or related field.
2. Full Grade twelve (12) certificate.
3. At least Eight (8) years of relevant work experience with at-least Three (3) years of workshop management experience with strong service awareness.
4. Must be 28–48 years old
5. Proficient in heavy-duty truck engines and chassis, including major and medium overhauls and complex fault diagnosis.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
1. Must reside in Ndola, Kitwe or the surrounding area.
2. Good communication skills and coordination/management abilities.
3. Gross Salary: ZMW8,000.00 to ZMW12,000.00 per month. Negotiable for outstanding candidates.
NOTE. All interviews are strictly in-person, at our Sakania Yard in Ndola.
