Position: Revenue Assurance / Reconciliation Officer

Company: Kazang Zambia.

Location: Lusaka, Zambia.

Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Revenue Assurance / ReconciliationOfficer to join our team in Lusaka. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate reconciliation of transactions, safeguarding revenue, improving reconciliation processes, and maintaining high-quality financial controls across products and platforms.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Revenue Assurance / Reconciliation Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Reconciliation of NFS and Visa transactions
Handling all NFS and Visa dispute queries, including investigation and resolution of variances
Following up on reconciling items and resolving issues through manual or system related processes
Monitoring and analysing performance across all products
Maintaining reconciliation schedules for allocations and other products
Preparing monthly and quarterly performance reports
Leading continuous improvement initiatives for revenue collection processes
Reconciling e-money transactions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Ensuring daily reconciliation of Main Bank Trust accounts
Improving work methods through on-the-job practical experience
Ensuring uninterrupted workflow and timely completion of tasks
Immediately escalating high-priority discrepancies or anomalies identified during reconciliation
Ensuring timely delivery of monthly reconciliation files for revenue and cost calculations
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and procedures Understanding and adhering to quality standards and reporting non-compliance
Performing any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manage

Qualifications and Experience

Grade Twelve Certificate
Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field from a reputable institution
Academic results must be verified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting, reconciliation, or a related field
 Experience in Fintech, Banking, or Telecommunications will be an added advantage  
Must be a registered member of the Zambia Institute of CharteredAccountants (ZICA)
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
