JOB VACANCY: MINE MANAGER

Location: Mine Site
Employment Type: Full-Time

A well-established mining company is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Mine Manager to oversee and manage all mining operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while maintaining full compliance with statutory and environmental requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and manage all mine site operations to achieve production targets.
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Develop and implement short and long-term mine plans.
Manage operational budgets and control costs.
Supervise and develop technical and operational staff.
Coordinate drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling activities.
Ensure availability and proper maintenance of mining equipment.
Prepare and submit operational and statutory reports.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and senior management.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
Valid EIZ membership.
Minimum 8–10 years’ mining experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong knowledge of mining methods, legislation, and safety standards.
Proven leadership, planning, and decision-making skills.

Strong financial and operational planning ability.
Effective communication and reporting skills.
High level of integrity and commitment to safety.
