Overview

We are recruiting!

Our client is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and inspiring Grade 7 Teacher to join their vibrant school community. Their school makes the most of the opportunities the farming environment and lush Zambian bush have to offer. The learning experience is enriched by being in the middle of farmland and surrounded by abundant flora and fauna, making it possible to expose their learners to the wonders of the natural environment. They cultivate a deep respect for each individual, the school, and the natural environment.

The School encourages and supports hard work, believing that this, together with a solid work ethic, is the key to success. Each and every student is treated as a unique individual, and they encourage them to strive for their personal best in all aspects of their development.

The successful candidate will:

Hold a recognised teaching qualification.
Have a minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience (experience in upper primary / middle school is essential).
Have experience teaching the Cambridge Curriculum (strongly advantageous).
Demonstrate a strong understanding of curriculum progression, assessment, and preparation for transition into secondary schooling.
Show proven ability in classroom management, organisation, and academic rigour.
Be confident in supporting diverse learning needs and applying appropriate intervention strategies where required.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively and professionally with parents.
Bring energy, consistency, and a positive professional attitude to the classroom and wider school community

Personal attributes:
We are looking for an educator who:

Embodies the school values of honour, respect, and compassion.
Is reflective, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development.
Contributes positively to a culture of teamwork, high expectations, and care for each learner

What We Offer:

A supportive and collaborative working environment.

The opportunity to teach in a unique setting that promotes creativity and experiential learning.

A chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of learners within a vibrant rural community.
