Television Station Manager
NAC28 TV, a New Apostolic Church Zambia wholly-owned non-commercial Television Station is an equal opportunity employer, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Station Manager to manage the operations of the Station. The role will involve overseeing all aspects of television broadcast, from content creation and programming, financial management and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will work under minimal supervision while aligning with established standards and procedures.Zambia Job Market
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing daily operations of the television station
Ensuring that the station’s programming aligns with its target audience and mission
Ensuring compliance with the Independent Broadcasting Authority and other Statutory Regulations
Coordinating and supervising production teams
Developing and implementing operational policies
Managing station budgets and financial planning
Negotiating contracts with content providers and advertisers
Maintaining relationships with external stakeholders
Coordinating live broadcasts and special events
Ensuring technical infrastructure is up-to-date and functional
Promoting innovation and cost-saving solutions within the TV Station
Supervise staff members
Report and update the Board on a regular basis
Core Competencies
Experience in television broadcasting or related fields
Strong leadership and managerial skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of broadcasting regulations and compliance
Technical knowledge with broadcasting equipment
Strong organizational and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Solid understanding of television production processes
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and reliability
Qualifications and Experience
Full Grade 12 Certificate (5 ‘O’ levels)
Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcasting, Communications, Media, or related field
A Masters Degree in Media or Business Studies is an added advantage
Minimum of 5 years of experience in TV Broadcasting
