Our client, a multinational retail store chain, is seeking a capable Visual Merchandiser to manage and execute visual merchandising standards across all their stores in Zambia, ensuring attractive product presentation, strong brand consistency, and sales-driven store layouts.Zambia job market

Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards across all stores
Execute window displays, mannequins, wall bays, and focal points
Ensure store layouts support customer flow and maximize sales
Conduct regular store visits and VM audits
Support promotions, seasonal themes, and clearance activities
Train store teams on basic VM principles and daily upkeep
Coordinate with Operations and Marketing teams
Share VM reports with photographs and action plans
Design and implement eye-catching visual store displays that align with brand standards and marketing strategies, in coordination with central visual merchandiser teams.
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create promotional displays for special events and product launches.
Analyze sales data and customer feedback to evaluate display effectiveness and make improvements.
Maintain product presentation standards and ensure that merchandise is consistently well-stocked and presented.
Monitor industry trends and competitor visual merchandising strategies.
Train and instruct store staff on new visual merchandising techniques and strategies.
Prepare planograms for new stock, events and seasons
Travel to different store locations to implement merchandising concepts and assess display success.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Fashion, Design, VM, or Retail Management preferred
3–6 years of experience in visual merchandising (retail / fashion preferred)
Experience handling multiple stores is an advantage
Strong knowledge of visual merchandising principles
Creative eye with strong attention to detail
Sales-oriented and commercially aware
Strong communication and training skills
Willingness to travel across Zambia to retail stores
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Valid Drivers licence
