Job Title: Sales Assistant Officer

Reports To: Sales & Marketing Manager / Managing Director

Job Purpose

The Sales Assistant supports the sales and marketing team by assisting with client inquiries, promoting catering services, following up on leads, and helping to increase bookings and customer satisfaction for events and functions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Assist in identifying and following up on new sales leads
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and social media
Help prepare quotations, proposals, and basic contracts
Support marketing activities, including social media posts and promotions
Maintain customer records and assist with client follow-ups
Assist during food tastings, exhibitions, and events when required
Work closely with the operations team to ensure client requirements are met

Qualifications & Skills

Grade 12 certificate
Certificate or Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field (added advantage)
Basic sales or customer service experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing
Creative, organized, self-motivated, and target-driven

Additional Requirements

Candidates must live within or near thornpark area
