To support the Manganese Aggregation Project through accurate manual and mechanised sorting of manganese ore by grade and quality. The role ensures that ore delivered by artisanal and small-scale miners (ASMs) and anchor suppliers is screened, sorted, and prepared according to established quality control standards, in compliance with company protocols, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Manually sort manganese ore into designated grade categories.
Operate and monitor ore sorting equipment to ensure accuracy.
Remove waste and non-conforming material from ore batches.
Follow strict quality control (QA/QC) procedures and report discrepancies.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
Use required protective equipment and handle materials safely.
Maintain accurate daily records of sorted ore volumes and grades.
Assist in preparing ore samples for laboratory analysis.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor to support operations.

Grade 12 School Certificate.
Certificate in mining/mineral processing, metallurgy, or related technical field (added advantage).
§  At least 2 years’ experience in mining, mineral processing, quarrying, or related manual handling roles.
Prior experience with ore sorting, crushing, or screening is an added advantage.Key Competencies:
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks in a mining/field environment.
Basic knowledge of ore grading, weighing, and stockpile management.
Familiar with use of hand-held tools and weighing/scaling equipment.
