Job Description:

We are seeking qualified Auto Electricians with networking systems experience preferrably from the mining industry to join our dynamic team. Successful candidates will be based in Solwezi and Kalumbila districts of North-Western Province respectively.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for fault finding and diagnosing auto electrical issues onn earth-moving equipment, mining trucks and machines as well as performing necessary repairs, maintenance and inspections for effective operation of the mining fleet.

Key Competencies

Knowledge of workshop procedures and safety standards.
Electronically controlled vehicle management systems.
Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams.
Attention to detail and problem solving abilities.
Computer literate
Familiar with latest CANBUS technological and computer based network devices such as tracking devices, camera systems, monitoring devices, network switches etc.
Harness repairs and complete rebuilds
Customer service orientation.
Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs including systems and components.
Strip, overhaul, reassemble and test starters and alternators for various diesel engines.
Ability to work according to safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
Handle all related workshop administration

Qualification & Experience Required: Craft Certificate/Diploma in Auto Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
