JOB PURPOSE

This role provides sales analysis reports to the Distribution Manager and the S&D Director. It ensures timely and accurate channel commission payments and supports Zonal Teams with MIS through the team managed under this role. The position also collaborates with Zonal Teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities that drive performance.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:

• Manage, train, coach, and develop the Zonal MIS team.
• Strengthen the effectiveness of sales teams by overseeing zonal MIS operations and ensuring data accuracy.
• Coordinate cross-functional support required by Zonal Teams.
• Ensure targets for all zones are set accurately, on time, and communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
• Track trade-related activities that contribute to the achievement of targets.
• Ensure the MIS team works closely with zonal staff to update information for timely and accurate reporting.
• Monitor execution progress for all zonal initiatives.
• Circulate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to zones and senior management (e.g., UAO, KYC, GA, SOGA).
• Ensure all channel partner payments are processed accurately and on time, in line with the set Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

REQUIREMENTS

Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field.
• At least 3 proven successful years of sales with a combination of direct and indirect sales
• Exposure to the Telecommunications Industry or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THE POST

• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills with ability to generate insights from sales and performance data
• Proficiency with MIS tools, Excel, PowerPoint, dashboards, reporting systems and high attention to accuracy and detail
• Strong presentation skills for senior leadership reporting
• Ability to manage, coach, and develop a team,
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously
