Our successful Maintenance Managers…

Effectively;

Oversees all hotel engineering and maintenance operations.
Manages preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, generators, and water systems.
Ensures compliance with Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) standards and statutory regulations.
Conducts risk assessments, fire drills, emergency response planning, and safety training.
Implements and maintains Operations Management System (OMS) documents, SOPs, checklists, and engineering logs.
Leads asset management, equipment lifecycle planning, and annual maintenance schedules.
Monitors and manages hotel energy consumption (electricity, water, gas, fuel).
Supervises contractors and coordinates specialized repairs and service agreements.
Provides leadership to the engineering team, including training, performance management, and staff scheduling.
Works closely with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues affecting guest experience.
Prepares monthly engineering reports, maintenance trends, budgets, and operational updates.
Ensures quick response to guest complaints and operational maintenance requests.
Supports sustainability initiatives and cost-reducing maintenance strategies.

If you have these qualifications, join our team:

• Full Grade twelve (12) certificate

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum of five (05) years’ work experience in a similar establishment

• Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)

Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) validated and certified copies of Academic and Professional Certificates will be required for successful candidate.
