Job description
Mechanical Plant Operator (Soybean Processing & Soya Chunks Production)
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Plant Operator to work in our soybean processing facility, located on Mumbwa Road, Lusaka
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor soybean processing equipment
Operate and maintain extruders, expellers, conveyors, and dryers
Perform routine mechanical repairs and troubleshooting
Ensure smooth production flow and minimize downtime
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and quality standards
Assist in daily production targets and reporting
Required Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of extruder and expeller repair
Experience working in a mechanical soybean plant or similar industrial environment
Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and perform quick repairs
Basic understanding of production process and machinery operation
Hardworking, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
