Job description

A NEWLY OPENED EDUCATION AND TRAINING INSTITUTE SITUATED IN LUSAKA WEST, ALONG MUMBWA ROAD (FORMER KASAMU SCHOOL), IS SEEKING QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCES PERSONS TO FILL UP VACANCIES.

JOB TITLE ON SITE: FULL-TIME, MULTIPLE POSITIONS

APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS

1.GARDENER

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 9 or Grade 12 Certificate.

• Experience in groundskeeping or general maintenance is an advantage.

• Physically fit and able to perform outdoor manual tasks.

 Applicants should stay/reside within lusaka west, mumbwa road area (near former kasamu school or willing to relocate closer to the school)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain school grounds, gardens, and outdoor facilities.

• Assist with minor maintenance and repair tasks.

• Ensure cleanliness of walkways and surrounding areas.

• Support event setup and outdoor activities.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

2.EARLY CHILDOOD TEACHERS TO TEACH:

NURSERY (2-4 YEAR OLDS)
RECEPTION (4-6 YEAR OLDS)

NURSERY (AGES 2-4)

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with children aged 2–4 (preferred).
Valid teaching certification

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of early childhood developmental milestones.
Ability to plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based learning activities.
Excellent classroom management tailored to young learners.
Strong communication skills with young children, parents, and colleagues.
Creativity in developing engaging sensory, motor, and language-rich lessons.
Ability to maintain a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment.

Responsibilities

Implement daily routines that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Observe, assess, and document children’s progress.
Support toilet training and basic self-help skills when needed.
Establish warm and responsive relationships with children.
Communicate regularly with parents on children’s development.
Ensure adherence to safeguarding, hygiene, and health & safety standards.

RECEPTION (AGES 4-6)

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma in Early Childhood / Primary Education (or equivalent).
2+ years teaching experience with Reception or Early Primary learners.
Understanding of early literacy and numeracy frameworks (e.g., phonics, pre-writing, emergent reading).

Skills & Competencies

Ability to deliver structured lessons that prepare children for primary school.
Strong classroom management and behaviour-guidance strategies.
Ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences across core subjects.
Competence in early assessment methods and reporting.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff.
Strong organisational and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver lessons in early literacy, numeracy, science, and social skills.
Track and assess student learning, providing regular progress reports.
Prepare children for transitioning into formal schooling.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Maintain accurate records, portfolios, and assessment data.
Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school goals and events.

3.LECTURERS

(To Lecture Certificate and Diploma Programs)

We are seeking qualified and dedicated Lecturers to teach in the following programs:

1.AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY

2.METAL FABRICATION

Minimum Requirements:

 Must be Accredited with TEVETA

 For Diploma Programs: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the relevant field

 For Certificate Programs: Diploma or higher qualification in the relevant field.

 A Teaching Methodology or Technical Education qualification is desirable.

 At least 5 years of teaching or industry experience in the relevant field.

 Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

 Deliver lectures and practical lessons at certificate and/or diploma levels.

 Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment materials.

 Conduct continuous student evaluations and maintain accurate academic records.

 Participate in curriculum development and institutional meetings.

 Carry out additional academic or administrative duties as assigned by the Training Manager
