POSITION 1: PROJECT / CONTRACT MANAGER
Location: Mpika Road Construction Project
Employer: China Jiangxi
Contract Type: Full-Time
Qualifications
BSc in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 15 years relevant experience
At least 10 years experience on similar large-scale road works
Registered member of a recognized engineering professional body
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and strategic direction for the project
Ensure delivery within cost, schedule, and quality requirements
Manage contract administration (FIDIC or equivalent) including variations, claims, and payment certificates
Lead project planning, scheduling, reporting, and risk management
Oversee stakeholder coordination with government, communities, and consultants
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
Supervise and mentor project teams, including capacity building for local staff
POSITION 2: SITE AGENT
Location: Mpika Road Construction Project
Employer: China Jiangxi
Qualifications
BSc in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 15 years total experience
At least 10 years experience on similar road construction works
Registered with a professional engineering body
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all site construction operations
Implement the construction program and monitor daily progress
Supervise earthworks, drainage, pavement, and structural works
Ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly site reports and verify quantities
Manage resources, subcontractors, and local labor
Enforce health and safety requirements
Support contract administration and coordinate with local authorities and communities
POSITION 3: QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER / ENGINEER
Location: Mpika Road Construction Project

Qualifications
BSc in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 15 years experience
Minimum 10 years dedicated experience in Quality Control
Key Responsibilities
Establish and implement the project’s quality management system
Oversee material testing, inspections, and compliance verification
Approve material sources, test results, and QC documentation
Manage site laboratory operations and supervise QC staff
Issue and track non-conformance reports and corrective actions
Ensure works meet project specifications and standards
Provide quality reports and coordinate with construction teams
POSITION 4: SURVEYOR
Location: Mpika Road Construction Project
Employer: China Jiangxi
Qualifications
BSc in Geomatics or related field
Minimum 10 years experience
At least 5 years experience in road construction projects
Key Responsibilities
Establish survey control and carry out setting out works
Conduct topographic and as-built surveys
Prepare DTMs, sections, and quantity calculations
Support cadastral surveys for land acquisition and compensation
Maintain survey records, equipment, and data accuracy
Coordinate with engineers and site teams to ensure correct execution
POSITION 5: FOREMAN – EARTHWORKS
Location: Mpika Road Construction Project

Qualifications
Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 15 years total experience
Minimum 10 years experience in earthworks on road projects
Key Responsibilities
Supervise excavation, filling, leveling, and compaction activities
Manage earthworks crew and equipment operators
Monitor productivity, quality, and compliance with specifications
Coordinate borrow pit operations and material handling
Address site challenges, weather issues, and equipment constraints
Maintain daily records and enforce safety procedures
