Job description
KEDA Zambia Ceramics Company Limited is a joint venture with presence in West Africa and East Africa and is headquartered in China. Currently KEDA is the world’s biggest ceramic company and clean coal gasification system supplier. With 26 years continuous development, devoting on “limitless innovation and pursuit of better forever”, KEDA has been the leading representative in the ceramic industry in the world.
We are looking for an experienced Compensation & Performance Supervisor with a strong background in payroll and performance management. The ideal candidate will have worked in a manufacturing company with over 500 employees, have handson experience using payroll systems, and have successfully implemented performance management programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Management
Review payroll calculations for accuracy
Follow up on salary adjustments, including quarterly promotion-based adjustments for production staff
Performance Management
Collect and review monthly performance appraisal data from all departments to ensure fairness and accuracy
Supervise the implementation of the performance appraisal process and ensure all stages are completed on time
Assist in developing and improving performance management policies and KPIs
Organize and conduct performance management training to enhance managers’ and employees’ understanding and application of the system
Compile and analyze performance results to support decisions on salary adjustments, promotions, and talent development
External Relations
Maintain and manage relationships with the Social Security Bureau and other relevant authorities
Special Projects
Assist in external salary surveys
Support annual manpower cost budgeting and other compensation/performance-related projects
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of relevant HR experience, with a focus on compensation and performance management
Experience in the manufacturing industry with 500+ employees preferred
Proficiency in payroll system operation and salary calculation review
Experience in implementing performance appraisal schemes
Strong data analysis, communication, and coordination skills
