Northrise University invites suitably qualified, experienced, and passionate individuals to apply for the following lecturing positions within its Faculties.

1. Lecturer – Law – Full Time
Job Purpose:
To facilitate teaching, learning, and research in the field of Law, contributing to the development of well-grounded graduates equipped with strong legal knowledge and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver lectures and tutorials in core areas of Law.
· Prepare course outlines, lesson plans, and teaching materials.
· Assess students’ performance through assignments, examinations, and projects.
· Conduct research and publish in recognized academic journals.
· Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
· Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum reviews.
· Student support and mentorship
· Curriculum development
· Record of research publications and conference presentations is desirable.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Master’s Degree in Law (LLM); a PhD will be an added advantage.
· Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized institution.
· Teaching experience at the tertiary level preferred.
· Demonstrated research and publication record.
· 2 years’ experience in higher education, particularly law or related disciplines.
· Admission to the bar and is in good standing

2. Lecturer – English Language – Part Time
Job Purpose:
To teach courses in English language and literature, fostering analytical and communication skills among students.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and deliver lectures in English grammar, linguistics, and literature.
· Supervise student projects and assessments.
· Contribute to curriculum design and review.
· Engage in academic research and publication.
· Support the department in academic and extracurricular activities.
· Qualifications and Experience:
· Master’s Degree in English Language, Literature, or Linguistics.
· Bachelor’s Degree in English or related discipline.
· Teaching experience at university or college level preferred.
· Evidence of research or scholarly activity.
· Engage in continuous professional development and research in language teaching.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or English Language Teaching, or related discipline.
· Bachelor’s Degree in English, Linguistics, Education (English,) or related field.
· Certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (CELTA, DELTA/TESOL) is required.
· A PhD (completed or in progress) in English, Linguistics, or Education (English) will be an added advantage.
· Experience in teaching EFL at the tertiary or adult learning level.
· Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in English Language instruction at secondary or tertiary level.

3. Lecturer – Teaching Methodology – Part Time
Job Purpose:
To equip future educators with effective teaching strategies, pedagogical knowledge, and professional competence for classroom practice.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver lectures in educational psychology and instructional design.
· Develop and update course content aligned with current teaching trends.
· Supervise teaching practice and student assessments.
· Conduct research in education and contribute to departmental activities.
· Participate in community and professional engagement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Master’s Degree in Education, Curriculum Studies, or related field.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
· Experience in teacher training or curriculum development.

4. Senior Security & Safety Officer – Full Time
Job Purpose:
To carry out security controls, monitor CCTV, and manage a third-party security company.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coach and monitor hired guards deployed on various university beats to ensure effective guard- ship and monitoring duties and patrols.
· Monitor of assets , vehicles, and facilities
· Conduct inspections , site visits, and audits to identify and address risks
· Support incident management reporting
· Maintain correct, accurate, and timely daily, weekly, and monthly logs of all security events monitored and captured on CCTV and other university security systems.
· Detect security breaches within the campus and enforce regulations when required.
· Facilitate prosecution in the courts of law of all cases of theft and vandalism involving university property.
· Efficiently and effectively monitor all access points to university premises to prevent unauthorized entry.
Qualifications, skills & Experience
· Diploma in security management or related field, or equivalent experience
· Minimum Education: Grade 12 Certificate
· Should have at least worked for more than 5 years in the police, army, or any other security organization.
· At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role, plus previous experience in security operations
· Fluent in written and spoken English
