The Key Purpose of this role is to lead the materials planning team in delivering aligned operational and tactical MRP plans, ensuring accuracy, risk mitigation, supplier collaboration, and continuous improvement within the LCP MRP & Management Pillar.

MRP Focus:

Leading a materials planning team that runs operational (13 week) and tactical 12-18 month out plans.
Ensure tactical plan (12-18 months out) is published monthly as aligned with CONA
Manage and own operational MRP (13-week plan) to the breweries– linking short term plans with Exec S&OP
Ensure an updated 13-week plan linked to WSNP publish is produced and shared in order to mitigate short term risks
Actively working with the portfolio and marketing teams on any promotions, write off risks and changes in packaging
SPOC for Hypercare MRP
Lead supplier SOE routines (supplier collaboration)
Owner of MRP KPI’s and problem solving on red KPI’s
LCP MRP & Management Pillar

Key roles and responsibilities

Publish weekly plans and escalate risks to Planning manager manager
Produce a monthly 12-18 month forecast aligned to S&OP and CONA publish
Ensure RACI is followed between breweries, MRP and quality departments
Ensure ONTIME system usage, adoption and adherence – track KPI’s
Ensure the effective usage of Barnton planning system
Control/Loss Prevention and Obsolete Management
Risk identification and mitigation
KPI tracking – DCBL material, Inventory Out of Range
LCP Material and Management Pillar

Minimum Requirements:

Effective numeracy and analytical skills & problem solving at both operational and tactical levels
Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
Good communicator across all levels within and external to the organisation
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build rapport and influence across all levels in the organisation
Excellent self management practices with a pro-active, energetic and committed approach
Excellent presentation and report drafting skills
Excellent analytical understanding and strong excel capabilities advantageous
Ability to manage multiple streams of information optimally with attention to detail
An orientation towards the quantitative disciplines of mathematics, statistics and economics would be advantageous
Candidate should have a 3 year Bachelor level degree in Sciences or Commercial or similar degree or equivalent tertiary education
1-2 years planning experience advantageous
