Zambeef Products PLC is the largest integrated cold chain food products and Agribusiness Company in Zambia and one of the largest in the Southern Africa region. It is involved in the primary production, processing, distribution, and retailing of beef, chicken, pork, eggs, dairy, fish, flour, leather, shoes, stock feed, and day-old chicks throughout Zambia and the surrounding region.

Transport Co-ordinator – (MPONGWE FEEDMILL) (01)

The Required Skills for this Role Include:

Ensuring the whole fleet is in good condition by planning for their servicing and repairs
Seeing to it that the whole fleet is road worthy as regards to Road Tax, Insurance and Certificate of Fitness.
Supervising the drivers and ensuring that they have the right documentation and educate them on their responsibilities regarding duties.
Controlling fuel usage and making sure drivers adhere to fuel normal usage
Supervising and Controlling driving behaviour.
Planning and supervising the distribution of food and other services within the farm.
Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed before and after work.
Planning and coordinating any transport requirements for the Zamhatch division.
Completing the truck trip review for each delivery truck
Monitoring the movement of trucks in distribution through Geotab, speed, stoppages and updating temperature systems reading for trucks in transit and report via WhatsApp to the Logistics group.

The Required Qualifications are:

Grade 12 Certificate with at least five O levels
Diploma in Transport and Logistics or any related fields
Experience with logistics processes is added advantage
