Job description
Momentum Mining Services Limited is seeking the services of a Multi-Skilled Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of mobile equipment, including buses, utility vehicles, and fuel/water bowsers, in line with site procedures and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company buses for transporting employees to and from designated areas on site.
Operate utility vehicles for administrative, logistics, and operational support.
Operate and manage fuel or water bowsers, ensuring accurate delivery, dispensing, and record-keeping.
Conduct daily pre-start inspections on all assigned equipment and report any faults immediately to the Site Manager.
Ensure adherence to all mine site safety rules, traffic regulations, and site operational protocols.
Assist with general site transport needs as instructed by the Site Manager.
Maintain accurate vehicle logs, fuel usage records, and relevant documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Class C/CE driver’s license with PSV certification.
Minimum 3-5 years experience driving on a mine/construction site project.
Proven ability to safely operate buses, utility vehicles, and bowsers.
Knowledge/ familiarity with mine safety standards.
Physically fit
Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform vehicle checks thoroughly.
Training in defensive driving/transport management will be an added advantage.
