Job description
The Learning Ladder Academy & Montessori invite suitably qualified and motivated individuals to apply for the position of Human Resource Officer.
Location: Twinpalms Road, Lusaka & Kaleya Road Campus
Start Date: To be communicated upon selection
Key Responsibilities
– Manage the end-to-end HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
– Ensure compliance with Zambian labour laws and internal HR policies.
– Maintain accurate employee records and oversee payroll-related processes.
– Develop and implement HR strategies that support a positive and professional work culture.
– Coordinate staff training, performance reviews, and professional development activities.
– Handle disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with best HR practices.
– Support management in implementing organizational policies and staff welfare programs.
Qualifications and Experience
– Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
– At least two (2) years of relevant work experience in HR management.
– Experience working in a school or educational environment will be an added advantage.
– Membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) is mandatory.
– Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
– High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
