Job description
Job Summary
The Assistant Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance Manager in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s Food Safety Management System (FSMS). This role involves overseeing daily QA activities, conducting audits, leading quality improvement initiatives, plant cleaning and sanitization and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory and industry standards.
Requirements
Degree in microbiology/Food Science and Technology or any related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role.
Strong working knowledge of Food Safety Management System and industry specific regulatory standards.
Strong analytical skills.
Team Player.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Lead Audit training in ISO 9001:2008 and FSSC 2000 is an added advantage.
Attention to detail and accuracy
Computer literacy.
