We’re Hiring:
Field Supervisor at Good Nature Agro
Location: Kalumbila (North-Western), Kasenengwa (Eastern), Northern Province, Zambia
Contract Type: One-year renewable
Professional Area: Production
About the Role
As a Field Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations in legume production, focusing on crops like beans, groundnuts, and soybeans. You will manage and support Extension Officers and work closely with smallholder farmers to ensure high-quality production, efficient operations, and strong farmer relationships. Your leadership will help drive farmer success and ensure production targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support Extension Officers and field staff
Oversee and coordinate production activities with smallholder farmers
Monitor and evaluate field operations to ensure quality and efficiency
Provide training and mentorship to Extension Officers and smallholder farmers
Report on field activities, challenges, and outcomes to management
Ensure adherence to agricultural best practices and company standards
Qualifications
Diploma in Agriculture or related field
Experience in legume production and smallholder farmer engagement
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work in rural settings with limited infrastructure
Motorbike riding skills are an advantage
