Job description
Location: Ndola, Zambia
One of Zambia’s leading insurance intermediaries with over 30 years of trusted service, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Insurance Broker to oversee operations at our Ndola Branch.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day branch operations and ensure smooth execution of all insurance activities.
Drive business development initiatives and grow the branch portfolio across corporate and retail segments.
Lead and mentor a team of brokers and support staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and partners.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Prepare and present periodic performance and market reports.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum National Diploma in Insurance or equivalent qualification (Degree will be an added advantage).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance broking or underwriting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role.
Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting, and claims processes.
Proven ability to manage teams and deliver on business targets.
Sound knowledge of the Copperbelt insurance market and client landscape will be a strong added advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
