Position: General Manager – Electronic Security Systems

Location: Lusaka, Zambia

Reporting to: Country General Manager

G4S Zambia, the nation’s leading security solutions provider, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our Electronic Security Systems division. This is a role for a professional passionate about technology, security, and innovation.

As the General Manager, you will be the driving force behind our electronic security strategy. You will be responsible for everything from the high-level design and deployment of new IT systems to the hands-on management of security incidents.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

Providing strategic leadership for all technical security operations and IT projects.
Overseeing technical vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks to our clients and our business.
Leading our incident management response to ensure rapid and effective resolution of all security issues.
Building and managing a high-performing technical team through effective hiring, training, and delegation.
Ensuring all projects are delivered consistently, on time, and within budget.
Working with senior leadership to shape security policies and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

What We Are Looking For:

A seasoned professional with experience in a technical management role, preferably in electronic security systems
A proven leader with top skills in Project Management, Incident Management, and Security.
Someone with experience leading the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
An excellent communicator capable of training staff, reporting to executives, and liaising with external agencies.
A Diploma in Telecommunications or a related field.
