Job Overview:
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Driver to safely transport cargo according to company instructions. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, vehicle care, and cargo security, while adhering to all traffic and company regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive company vehicles safely in accordance with traffic laws and road conditions.
Ensure all vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and legally documented.
Load, offload, and secure cargo according to company and legal standards.
Monitor fuel usage and tyre condition, ensuring efficient consumption and proper maintenance.
Comply with all crime prevention, health, safety, and PPE regulations.
Follow all company procedures for vehicle handover and reporting damages.
Operate vehicles only during authorized hours; night driving requires prior authorization.
Requirements:
Valid driving license for assigned vehicle type.
Valid passport and legal compliance with transportation laws.
Proven experience in driving trucks/cars, ideally in cargo transport.
Strong attention to detail and responsibility for cargo safety.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions from the Project Controller or Fleet Manager.
Commitment to company policies, codes of conduct, and safety procedures.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions, manuals, and documentation.
