Job description

We are a honey company, based in Lusaka, seeking a competent and highly organized
Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations, streamline processes, and ensure
efficiency across production, field operations, and distribution.
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast
paced environment, with strong Excel skills to manage data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day operations, including field operations, production, packaging,
warehousing, and logistics.
Oversee scheduling and delegation of tasks.
Record keeping, creation and maintenance of operational reports
Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
Collaborate with the Operations Manager to meet production targets and customer
delivery deadlines.
Train, mentor, and support operational staff to encourage skill development and
teamwork.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain,
or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, food production,
field operations (overseeing operations in rural areas across Zambia), or related
operations environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) is preferred.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
