Job description
The Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) is a leading Zambian non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the health of Zambians through research, innovation, and capacity development.
CIDRZ is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals to serve as Board Members and Committee Members. We have three (3) vacant positions on the CIDRZ Main Board, two (2) vacant positions on the Human Resources/Operations Committee, two (2) vacant position on the Finance/Audit Committee and two (2) vacant positions on the Risk/Compliance Committee.
Applicants should be committed to participating in quarterly Board meetings and committee work, able to serve an initial three-year term, willing to contribute time, skills, networks, or financial support, and be demonstrated leaders with integrity and a strategic mindset. A passion for community empowerment and inclusive development is essential.
We welcome professionals with expertise in the following fields;
1. Public Health and Medicine,
2. Finance and Audit,
3. Risk and Compliance Management,
4. Law and Governance,
5. Human Resources,
6. Resource Mobilization and Community Engagement.
A minimum of 3 years board experience is required.
