Job Vacancy: Sales Assistants – Feed & Chicks Division
Locations: Kalomo | Choma | Mazabuka | Lusaka

About the Role

ZamHarvest is seeking dynamic and customer-oriented Sales Assistants with a background in Agriculture or Marketing to join our growing team. This position is well-suited for individuals who are passionate about agribusiness and skilled in building strong relationships with farmers, retailers, and community partners.

As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in promoting and selling poultry feed and day-old chicks, ensuring excellent customer service while contributing to the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

Promote and sell poultry feed and chicks to both walk-in and outreach customers
Provide product education and technical support to farmers and retailers
Maintain accurate sales records and assist with inventory management
Build and nurture long-term customer relationships through regular follow-ups
Support marketing campaigns and community engagement initiatives
Monitor market trends and provide feedback to enhance product offerings
Ensure proper handling and presentation of chicks and feed stock

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science, Marketing, or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of poultry nutrition and chick management
Previous sales experience in agribusiness will be an added advantage
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Proficiency in record-keeping and basic digital tools (e.g., Excel, WhatsApp Business)
