The National Legal Aid Clinic for Women (NLACW) is a Project of the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ), which was established to provide affordable legal representation to women and children from marginalized social sectors.  The overall objective of the NLACW is to empower women by facilitating their access to legal rights by way of legal representation, counselling, legal and human rights education as a distinct but integral part of the women’s movement.

NLACW is inviting applications from qualified and experienced typists to assist in typing judgments for the purpose of compiling a case book.

Scope of Work:

The candidates will be required to accurately type court judgments provided by NLACW.
Ensure correct formatting and citation styles as require
Organize content systematically for publication.
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to legal standards
Work within given timelines to complete the compilation of the judgments.

Deliverables:

A complete draft of the compiled Judgments.
Final edited and formatted version ready for publication.

Duration:

The assignment is expected to be completed within 3 weeks from the commencement date.

Required Qualifications:

1.   Proficiency in typing with excellent accuracy and speed.

2.   Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

3.   Access to a computer and reliable internet connection (if remote work is permitted).
