Job description

UNO Energies Zambia is a registered OMC and in the process of opening Fuel Stations across the Country. The company seeks to recruit qualified persons for the role of Supply Operations Assistant.

The successful candidates will perform the duties below;

Key Responsibilities:

Manage customs clearance processes for all incoming trucks to ensure compliance with regulations.
Plan and schedule truck movements, ensuring timely arrivals and continuous fuel supply at all filling stations.
Allocate fuel trucks effectively to meet operational and stock level requirements.
Prepare and submit invoices to the Finance department for payment, and process supplier tax invoices.
Coordinate and maintain strong relationships with transporters to ensure efficient service deliver
Monitor and track stock levels across stations, addressing shortages proactively.
Ensure all operational documentation is accurate, timely and compliant with company and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience working in logistics or supply chain operations (experience in the OMC industry is an added advantage)
Strong planning and scheduling abilities for transport and logistics.
Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and regulatory compliance.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle operational challenges under pressure.
Proficiency in MS Office
Ability to work independently and in a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transport and Logistics or a related field is preferred.

Grade 12 Certificate
