We are inviting suitably qualified, competent, and highly motivated professionals based in Lusaka to apply for the position of:

1. Accounting Intern (1)

Key Responsibilities

a)    Financial Transactions &

Bookkeeping:

Accurately record financial transactions in line with company accounting procedures.
Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile accounts.

b)   Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
Assist in debtors and creditors reconciliations and ensure timely follow-ups.

c)    Reporting & Compliance:

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
Support audits and ensure compliance with Zambian tax laws and financial regulations.

d)   Payroll & Budget Support:

Assist with payroll preparation and statutory deductions.
Provide support in budget preparation and expenditure monitoring.

e)    Record Management:

Maintain proper records and filing of all financial documents.
Safeguard confidentiality and accuracy of financial information

f)     Compliance:

Preparing and Submitting NAPSA, NHIMA & ZRA returns.

Qualifications and Experience

Grade Twelve (12) Certificate.
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Not less than One (1) relevant work experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity and ability to work in a team environment.
