Job Title: Forensics Analyst
Under the supervision of the Manager Forensics, below are the Key Job Responsibilities;
Lead and execute assigned investigations into fraud incidents;
Utilize advanced forensic techniques and IT knowledge to collect and analyze evidence;
Prepare detailed investigation reports, case summaries, and forensic examination reports;
Conduct proactive reviews and fraud risk assessments in identified risk areas and new business processes;
Ensure that all findings, conclusions, and recommendations are well-documented and easily accessible;
Document and communicate investigation findings to management;
Track recommendations arising from investigations and assessments to ensure they are addressed;
Pursue fraud recoveries from investigations and manage insurance claims;
Ensure the secure handling of digital evidence in a legally admissible manner;
Stay informed about emerging forensic technologies and cyber threats;
Provide training and awareness programs to staff on cyber fraud prevention and detection;
Collaborate with legal teams and law enforcement agencies as needed;
Any other responsibilities or tasks as maybe assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements
Grade 12 Certificate with 5 credits or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or similar.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a business environment, including at least 2 years in fraud investigation and/or management, auditing, or information security.
Proficiency in digital forensics, data analytics, and Microsoft Excel. Strong knowledge of IT security, cyber threats, and incident response.
Experience in telecommunications and business processes is desirable.
