
Website WIldlife Producers Association of Zambia (WPAZ)
Purpose:
To support WPAZ in data collection, management, and analysis while strengthening communication and knowledge-sharing with members, stakeholders, and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and manage data from member reports, research surveys, and field activities.
Maintain and update WPAZ databases, including membership and wildlife monitoring records.
Support mapping and spatial analysis using GIS software (QGIS/ArcGIS).
Generate simple data visualisations, charts, and reports.
Assist with content preparation for newsletters, social media, and other platforms.
Support meetings, workshops, and documentation.
Perform other data and communications tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & skills:
Diploma or degree in Ecology, Wildlife Management, Environmental Education, Geography, Natural Resource Management, or related field
At least 1 year of relevant work or internship experience, preferably in a data management, communications or conservation-related role.
Experience with data entry and database tools (MS Access/Excel).
Knowledge of GIS tools (QGIS/ArcGIS) desirable.
Strong analytical skills and ability to present data clearly.
Good writing and communication skills.
Familiarity with social media or communications work is an advantage.
