We are a fast-growing engineering company engaged in electrical, mechanical, civil engineering, and plant hire services. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sourcing / Tender Specialist to strengthen our procurement and bidding functions.

Job Purpose
The Sourcing / Tender Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the company’s tendering process, preparing competitive bids, managing supplier sourcing, and ensuring compliance with procurement and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and monitor tender opportunities relevant to the company’s services.
Coordinate preparation and submission of tender documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client specifications.
Develop cost estimates and pricing structures in collaboration with engineers and project managers.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
Maintain a database of suppliers, subcontractors, and industry partners.
Track tender outcomes, provide feedback, and support continuous improvement of bidding processes.
Ensure adherence to company policies, client requirements, and statutory procurement regulations.
Support contract negotiation and handover to project teams once tenders are awarded.
Prepare reports and updates on sourcing and tender activities for management.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in tendering, procurement, or contract management, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, bid preparation, and contract compliance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and tender/procurement management systems.
Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, ZIPS) will be an added advantage.
