Job description
Millennium Television Ltd (MTV) is a dynamic and fast-growing media house committed to delivering quality news, entertainment, and educational programming to our audience across Zambia and beyond. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development & Marketing Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow the station’s audience and revenue.
· Identify, pursue, and close business opportunities, partnerships, and sponsorship deals.
· Draft compelling business proposals, concept notes, and sponsorship packages tailored to client needs.
· Manage contracts with clients, advertisers, and partners to ensure compliance and delivery of agreed terms.
· Lead the formulation and execution of the station’s business growth strategy.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advertisers, and corporate partners.
· Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
· Collaborate with production and programming teams to align marketing efforts with content strategy.
· Prepare regular reports on marketing performance and business development outcomes.
· Be accountable for all business development, sales and marketing staff.
· Accountable for the delivery of the business development, sales and marketing strategies and targets.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Degree will be an added advantage).
· Reasonable experience in business development, sales and marketing, or related roles — preferably in the media or advertising industry.
· Strong skills in proposal writing, contract negotiation, and client relationship management.
· Strategic thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
