Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pastry Chef who will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods. The ideal candidate will bring innovation, attention to detail, and consistency to every creation, elevating our dessert offerings to a world-class standard.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked goods.
Design seasonal dessert menus and daily pastry specials.
Ensure excellent presentation and consistent taste across all items.
Oversee pastry production and inventory, ensuring freshness and minimal waste.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to create exciting dessert experiences.
Train and mentor junior pastry staff.

 

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end hotel or bakery.
Culinary degree or relevant certification in baking and pastry arts.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, chocolate work, and plating.
Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
