3D Drafter/Designer

We are seeking for a highly skilled and creative Furniture 3D Drafter to join our growing team in the Furniture Department. The ideal candidate must have experience in designing furniture using 3D modeling software and should be able to translate concepts and sketches into precise technical drawings and 3D renders.

Key Responsibilities:

Create 3D models and technical drawings of furniture products (wardrobes, cabinets, kitchen units, office desks, etc.)
Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are accurate and manufacturable
Modify existing designs based on feedback or site requirements
Produce detailed assembly and cutting lists from 3D models
Ensure designs meet quality, space, and functionality standards

Requirements:

Full grade 12 certificate
Certificate, diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architectural Drafting, Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or a related technical field.
Proficiency in 3D design software (such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
Prior experience in furniture design or cabinet-making
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Attention to detail and strong visualization skills
Knowledge of furniture materials and fittings will be an added advantage
