Job Title: Human Resource Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Senior Human Resources Lead
Schedule: 20 hours/week,12 days a Week
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Human Resource Assistant to support daily administrative tasks within our HR department. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on HR experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with recruitment processes, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
Maintain and update employee records, both physical and digital.
Help onboard new hires by preparing documentation and orientation materials.
Process employee requests regarding HR issues, policies, and procedures.
Support payroll and benefits administration with data entry and reporting.
Assist with maintaining compliance with labour laws and internal policies.
Organize HR documents and maintain filing systems.
Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
Qualifications:
Diploma or equivalent required; in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
Prior experience in an administrative or HR role is a plus. 2 years
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software is a plus.
Discretion in handling confidential information.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
