JOB PURPOSE
To supervise receipt, storage and issuance of goods in order to ensure accountability, safe custody and availability.

Responsibility:
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (MAIN DUTIES)
Receipt – Supervises effectively the receipt of goods in order to ensure accountability.
Storage – Supervises effectively the storage of goods in order to ensure safe custody.
Issuance – Supervises effectively the issuance of goods in order to ensure availability.
Stocktaking – Supervises periodically stocktaking in order to facilitate implementation of appropriate interventions.
Database – Supervises timely the maintenance of stock database in order to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of information.
Disposal – Supervises effectively identification of obsolete goods in order to facilitate their disposal.
Risk Management – Supervises effectively the preparation and updating of the sectional risk register in order to ensure effective management of risk.
Quality Management System     – Supervises effectively the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems in order to ensure compliance to set standards.
Performance Management – Supervises timely the development of work plans and the implementation of the performance management system in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance.
Supervision – Supervises effectively human and other resources in order to facilitate attainment of set objectives.
