Feed Data Clerk

Qualifications
Grade Twelve (12) Certificate
BSc. Degree in Fisheries Science, Aquaculture, Natural Resource, or another related field.
Job role
Monitors mortalities daily and identifies cages with reduced feed intake daily.
 Conduct cage visits 2x per week to relate data gathered with on the ground activity
Flag out the none performing cages and recommendations to improve the cage performance.
Ensure optimal use of feed – appropriate use of feed sizes and types.
Nursery mortalities assessed 1x per week for deformities: entered into an excel data base.
Planned vs actual daily attendance schedule, leaves schedules planned out well.
Flags overstocked cages, potential theft, disease, and other risks.
Evaluation of weekly cage performance based off of feed rates.
Evaluation of feeder performance: based off of closed cages and attendance
Ensures proper planning of annual leave and work schedules, reports sick leave and maximum team discipline.
Constantly evaluates the feeding team including supervisors and ensures maximum productivity.
Feeding targeted tonnage per month- assessment daily of it teams are on track to hit the targets- flags issues to manager if off target.
Daily Monitoring of Lake Operations feeding and mortalities- all anomalies get flagged and raised directly to supervisors.
 Daily Monitoring of water Temperature and Dissolved Oxygen.
Feeding, mortality and all other anomalies get entered into aqua manager daily comments section
Carryout any other tasks as specified by line manager.
 Monitoring ABW samples and flag out the stunted cages
