The University is hereby inviting applications from the general public for the under listed positions.
TECHNICIANS (2 positions)
Job Purpose:
The job purpose for each of the technician positions below shall be: to support scientific research investigations and support teaching by performing routine technical tasks such as preparing samples, running experiments, recording results while ensuring safety and maintaining laboratory equipment and tools and planning and ensuring availability of laboratory requisites.
1. Laboratory Technician – Agriculture (01 position)
Requirements
(i) Must have a Grade 12 or Form V Certificate or its equivalent with Five (05) Credits or better that must include English Language, Mathematics and Science.
(ii) Must have a BSc in Agriculture (General Agriculture, Crop Science, Plant Science, Animal Science or related field).
(iii) Demonstrate experience on management of open field and laboratory based experiments will be added advantage of at least two (2) years.
(iv) Must have full registration and valid practising licence from Agricultural Institute of Zambia.
2. Clinical Instructor – Health Sciences (01 position)
Requirements
(i) Must have a Grade 12 or Form V Certificate or its equivalent with Five (05) Credits or better that must include English Language, Mathematics and Science.
(ii) Must have a BSc in Clinical Science.
(iii) Demonstrate work experience of at least two (2) years.
(iv) Must have full registration and valid practising licence from Health Professional Council of Zambia.
