CAREER OPPORTUNITY – ARTISAN PLANT FITTER

The Company Seeks the Services of an Artisan Plant Fitter x11
Job Purpose
The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:
Ensure optimum plant/equipment availability
Ensure strict adherence to statutory and domestic regulations particularly those relating to safe working practices in order to prevent injury to person and damage to company machinery
Keep equipment and prolong service life
Conduct planned and ad hoc plant maintenance as well as repairs to plant and equipment in accordance with job card instructions and as per drawing
Utilise correct materials and consumables as per the specifications and location
Ensure that lock out tag out procedures are followed at all times where applicable
Drive the health, safety and environment standards/policy awareness and practice in the Department to ensure compliance
Adhering to all other assignments that are given that are lawful and fair
To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
Craft Certificate in Plant Fitting
A Technician’s Certificate in Plant Fitting will be an added advantage
Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)
2 Years experience
Must be physically fit and with the ability to work with the relevant tools.
All academic qualifications should be verified and certified by Zambia Qualifications Authority.
The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and corporate objectives.
