Restaurant Supervisor

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of customer service, supporting team performance, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving service excellence. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and passionate about hospitality

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise front-of-house and/or back-of-house operations during shifts
Ensure all guests receive prompt and friendly service
Support and motivate staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment
Monitor staff attendance, grooming, and performance
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas
Handle customer complaints professionally and effectively
Oversee stock control and coordinate with suppliers as needed
Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Communicate effectively with management and provide shift reports when required

Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven experience as a supervisor or team lead in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution abilities
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
High level of integrity and accountability
Basic knowledge of POS systems and inventory control
Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
